Pre-school Class
Welcome to St Thomas More school, we have been so excited about meeting you all. It was wonderful to see you and we hope you have enjoyed the summer. We are looking forward to learning more about you and what you enjoy doing.

For each term we will add a curriculum newsletter, so that you know what your child will be learning about at school an you can talk to them about it.
We will also add photographs of children enjoying their learning at school for you to enjoy too.

Mrs Lisek, Miss Stephens and Mrs Armstrong are the Teaching Assistants in the EYFS and support all children across both classes.

Autumn Term 1 - 2023
This half term, we will be looking at the topic of Superheroes, which includes finding out about themselves and their families. We will also be looking at some real life superheroes such as Florence Nightingale. We will tell the children about the festivals of Harvest and Sukkot as part of our Celebrations topic.

Autumn Term 2 2023
This half term we will be learning about Divali and Christmas as part of our topic and continuing with superheroes.
In Maths we will be looking at sorting objects with numbers and in English reading Owl Babies.
As the weather is getting colder, please could you bring NAMED hat, scarf, gloves and warm coat. Thank you.
Spring Term 1- 2024
This term we will be learning all about animals, including what pets people can have and all about animals habitts.
In English we will be reading Handa's surprise and maths we will be looking at different shapes.
Spring Term 2 - 2024

In English we will be reading 'What the lady bird heard'.
Summer Term 1 2024
