Our Liturgical Year

We are currently in the Liturgical season of Ordinary Time.

ADVENT

This Sunday, we enter the Holy season of Advent. Advent is the start of the new Church year. During this season we eagerly await and prepare for the coming of Christ at Christmas. We will be preparing through prayer, reconciliation and learning about how we can observe this very special season. Our prayer areas will be adorned with purple cloth and we will light the advent candles on our advent wreaths. This is an exciting time for the Church and for us, as a school as we reflect on the journey of the Holy Family at this very special time.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

We remember those who have died in the month of November and especially prayed for those who died in war. The children from across school made poppies to help them reflect on the sacrifices made by so many so that we may have our freedom today.

Charity

As a school we would like to thank our entire community for the support you have provided for our families and local community this year.

Together, we have supported a number of initiatives that have helped to make a difference to the lives of others.

Thankyou to all our parents, carers and children for helping us to help others.

First Holy Communion

We are looking forward to supporting the children in Year 3 as they continue on their journey of faith to prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Please clickHERE for the list of dates for family workshops and masses that will take place throughout the year. If you have any questions or queries about the programme, please contact the school office for more information.
