The School Day

At St. Thomas More our school day begins at 8.55am and finishes at 3pm. The gates are unlocked at 8.40am to allow children to arrive earlier if they wish and to support the drop-off of siblings at feeder Middle and High schools. Gates are locked promptly at 8.55am and anyone arriving after this time will receive a ‘Late’ mark on the register. Parents MUST accompany children arriving late to the front office and provide a reason for the lateness. This will be monitored weekly by the Attendance team.

For the academic year 2022-23 the total number of compulsory hours for children to attend St. Thomas More is 30 hours and 25 minutes per week.
