The virtues this half term are Learned and Wise and we will be looking for children showing these virtues to put on our virtues tree in the hall.

On Thursday’s the children are enjoying their French lessons. This term they were learning how to greet people and numbers to 20. They enjoyed speaking to each other in French and they will be continuing this.

Following designing their sarcophagus the children used plasticine to make a prototype of their own sarcophagus and are in the process of making their clay model.

In Maths the children continued to work on addition and subtraction using lots of resources.

In English the children have been looking at different settings and using descriptive vocabulary to describe them. They have also produced a story map for a Chinese garden setting and this week they are innovating the setting.

In RE Y3 are looking at the readings in Mass, including the First Reading, Psalm, Second Reading and the Gospel. Y4 are looking at Moses and the story of the Ten Plagues and the journey of the Israelites.

Next Week in RE we will be thinking about Advent and preparing for Christmas.
