Week 4 – St John Bosco

Published by Lauren Allbutt on

Another busy week in St John Bosco!

In English the children have started to look at enhancing their sentences in their ideas and writing about the Pharaoh from the book The Egyptian Cinderella. They worked really hard and have come up with some excellent ideas about him using expanded noun phrases, prepositional phrases and even similes!

In RE, the children learnt about telling the story of Abraham and Isaac, from Abraham’s point of view.

In Science, the children began to think about sun safety and why it’s really important to look after ourselves when we are out in the sun. They created a poster or leaflet about this, and their efforts have shown in their amazing work!

In history, they have been comparing Ancient Egyptian life to modern day life. They really enjoyed discussing the similarities and differences between this!

On Friday, we held our Go Green for CAFOD. The children thought about the environment and climate change and all made a pledge as to what they were going to do to ‘Go Green’.

Have a lovely weekend.
