Our first week back in St Faustina Class

Published by KPinchbeck on

A big well done to ALL the children in St Faustina class. All of the teachers have been very impressed at how well the children have settled in. It has been so nice to see such happy, confident children arriving into school each day.

We have had a transition week in order to help the children adjust and adapt and this has included lots of ‘play’ based activities alongside some more formal whole-class lessons based around Maths, English and RE. All the children have worked very hard. The children have also been into assembly in the hall each day and have delighted us with their wonderful sitting, listening and singing.

In case you haven’t seen it on the newsletter, please can you ensure that your child comes into school wearing their PE kit every Monday AND Wednesday (PE is on the Monday and Forest School is on the Wednesday). They will be provided with waterproofs for the Forest School Session but will need named wellies brought in from home too.

Finally a special mention to our certificate winners this week, well done and keep up the good work.
