St Bernadette Week 3

Published by cchurchill on

This week the children have learned alot more about our school Saint, as we celebrated his Feast Day on Tuesday. The children sketched images of St Thomas More and designed banners and school logos containing our school motto ‘Learning, Loving and Living Together With Christ’. We also had a lovely whole school mass.

In English, the children have planned their innovation of our character description and they wrote their innovation too. In maths, the children have continued their work on fractions and have been learning about unit and non-unit fractions.

We practised our races for next weeks Sports Day and are looking forward to it. Your child needs to wear a top in their house colours. They are green for St Patrick’s, red for St George’s, yellow for St David’s and blue for St Andrew’s.

Congratulations to all of the children who received awards this week. Lio and Alfie received awards in our virtues and values assembly for being faith-filled and hopeful and Filip, Emilia, Isabelle and Alfie received awards for their hard work in class.
