Our week in St Thomas

Published by KPinchbeck on

We’ve had another wonderful week in St Thomas. The children have worked extremely hard in all lessons. In Maths, we have learnt a doubling song….ask your child how it goes as we are all confident doing doubles for numbers 1-5 and some of us can double 6-10 too! We have entered the season of Advent and have learnt all about the Advent wreath this week. In our virtual assembly, led by Miss Moriani, we were able to watch her light the first candle on our school Advent wreath. We are unable to gather for assemblies so it nice that we can ‘virtually’.

The children have worked incredibly hard, so today we rounded off the week with a day of Christmas activity fun…

The children made tree decorations, decorated snowman biscuits and completed a challenge where they had to make a roof that would hold Santa’s sleigh. We all had a wonderful time.

Also here are our Bug Club readers for this week…well done Theo, Oliver, Nathaniel, Molly-May, Zuzanna, Emily and Evie(not pictured). Keep up the fantastic reading!
