St Martin de Porres week 4

Published by NJones on

We’ve had another good week in St Martin de Porres.

Our week started with a lovely mass from the Parish reminding us to do good things for others.

The children enjoyed finding out about the RAF in English so they could write another non chronological report.

They are still working on addition and subtraction in maths and this week we were learning how to exchange from the 100s column.

In science, they labelled various bones in the body and the children enjoyed discussing the skeleton.

The highlight of the week was making the clay pots on Monday. It was a bit tricky but everyone managed in the end. Watch this space for pictures when they are painted.

In our virtues and values assembly on Friday An’nyah and Hugh both recieved awards. An’nyah’s was for writing lovely prayers to share with the class. Hugh’s was for always setting an excellent example to his class mates in both his behaviour and attitude to work.

Just a reminder that this year you can only be write Christmas cards to the children in our class. If you need a list of names, please ask.

I hope you all have a good week and I will write again next week.
