St Bernadette week 8

Published by cchurchill on

What a busy and tiring 8 weeks it has been but the children have been fantastic at settling in to the new routines and readjusting to life back at school. I am very proud of their achievements and progress in such a short space of time and am very excited to see what next half term brings. I hope all of the children and their families enjoy a well deserved rest but if your child does want to do some work during the break, I would recommend practising their handwriting and sentence structure, focusing on where capital letters and full stops should go. For maths, practise counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s forwards and backwards, recall of number bonds to 10 and 20 and addition and subtraction using mental not written methods. Bug club books will also be updated.

Have a wonderful break and I look forward to seeing the children when school reopens on the 2nd November.
