Phonics
The RWI set 2 phonics is now complete, it starts all over again today, so you can recap the sounds again to the end of the year. Follow the instructions for phonics above complete the speed sounds lesson and spelling.
The sound is ‘ee – ‘What can you see?’
Writing
Today I would like you to use your story map from last week (If you did not complete one you can look back on last weeks lesson on the Friday.
I would like you to begin writing the story of Jack and the beanstalk and continue writing it throughout the week.
Maths
Today we are focussing on 1 more than a number. Watch and sing along to Jack Hartmann
Now have a go at finding 1 more than any number. Order your number cards to 20 again and see if you can say what 1 more than a chosen number is.

We looked at number 12 on Friday. Have a watch of the Numberblocks video to remind yourself about number 13.

The month of July gives us time to think on the mystery of Jesus’ most precious blood. We think about the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross and what this means for us all, especially in wondering at the mystery of the Eucharist. To help us to think about this mystery, have a go at creating this craft by making your own chalice for communion below.
