OFSTED Report 2017

Published by HKimberley on

Dear Parents and Carers

I would like to thank you for your continued support this year and during the recent Ofsted inspection. “Parents spoken to, or responding to surveys, were unanimous in their praise of the school.” I am sending out the OFSTED report which will also be available on our website. As you will see the school is no longer graded as good because there are a number of things we need to ensure they are consistently applied throughout school to secure good. The report states that “Outcomes are starting to improve. More of the pupils currently in the school are now making much better progress and teaching has improved.” It highlights the things we need to focus on but were already aware of and working on, at the time of the inspection. It identified personal development, behaviour and welfare and Early Years as good overall as well as elements of strong practice throughout the school.

I believe that the school is improving all the time and I hope that you recognise the hard work, dedication and care provided by the staff to ensure the children are safe, happy and progressing. I am confident that the school will regain a ‘good’ at the next Ofsted in two years’ time. If you have any questions, please contact the office or speak to me on the gate.
