What a fantastic day we have had with Dave and his Rainforest Roadshow! We have learned so many new facts and seen lots of amazing photos.  We even met some very interesting animals, had a go at making tribal jewellery and sketching different creatures. Some of us even faced some fears and held a few of the creatures:

We have had a lovely week celebrating Holy Week.  Firstly, we are so proud of our Year 3 children for their fantastic Gospel Assembly on Tuesday.

To finish off our learning during Holy Week today, we looked at the Last Supper and the food that Jesus would have shared with his disciples.  Some of the children even asked to try some small amounts…we had a mixed response!

Thank you for your ongoing support during this term. We hope you have a restful and happy Easter and look forward to seeing you in the Summer term.

Have a lovely weekend!

This was the longest group:

Have a great weekend everyone!

We have been working really hard this week in maths by interpreting data on pictograms, bar charts, tally charts and frequency tables.  Here is a pictogram we made all about our favourite fruits:

This half term we have become masters at column addition and subtraction this half term. Some of us are even using four digit numbers!

We have really enjoyed our topic work.  Now we know how to find hills and mountains on a map as we use potatoes to show how height is shown:
